Private or Group PT Sessions

Are you wanting to start your Health & Fitness Journey but are nervous about going to the Gym or just have never enjoyed exercise? I'm here to help change that. Gone are the days where you have to run on a treadmill for 60 minutes (unless you want to of course!)

 

It has now been proven that strength training is way more beneficial for burning calories at rest, even when your body isn't moving! Cardio sessions are typically measured in calories burnt; however, we know that the fat burning potential of a heavy weights session is far greater than a cardio session. And is way more fun if you ask me.

If you're a women, then it is even more vital that you do some type of regular strength training to maintain muscle mass, slow down weight gain in midlife and also reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Yet, women are the least likely to do weights. Mainly because they don't want to add bulk to their bodies. But strength training rarely adds bulk unless you're following a designed for bulk programme and you work hard on your nutrition to support muscle growth (such as eating a very high calorie, high protein diet.)
